We had an AEG / Electrolux Santo K9 (18 00-5i) built-in fridge which leaked from the bottom ever since we got it. As it was under warranty, AEG had been out 5 times and been unable to sort it. Eventually, they replaced it with a brand new one, and guess what? After a few months the new one has just started leaking badly. Exactly the same problem as before. It is still under warranty but before we call AEG out yet again we’d like to know if other people have had the same problem and whether this a basic design fault with this particular model?

If it’s happened on two in the same housing that sorta points to it not being fitted correctly. 😉
Very often kitchen fitters completely fail to read the installation instructions and leave no ventilation or inadequate ventilation. That can cause condensation inside the unit and… guess what you get?
It may be well worth looking at before going back to AEG.
