An incident may be only 1 home with 1 or more appliances or a street or even a full housing estate with many appliance per home.
for invoicing we have an online portal facility that all job information and costs can be entered directly by your engineers or office staff, so there is no need to raise paperwork for posting.
we are looking for engineers skills covering all domestic Laundry Products,Dishwashers,Ovens/Cookers Gas and electric ( but on gas we would only ask the electrical side to be repaired)Hobs (gas and Electric but again only the electrics on gas hobs,Microwave Vacuum cleaners and any other domestic appliances you have the skills to assess or repair.
The advantage for any repair agent is that you may get a fair number of appliances and only have to travel to one location.Can you tell me what radius youcould cover or postcodes?, also how many vans and engineers you have?.

As you say an interesting communication particularly when you consider that JTM (part of this group) are out there trying to recruit 0800Repairs engineers whilst at the same time shafting those that have loyally served them. And then there is the loss of work contracts to JTM. Of course have to note that the dialing code 0191 387 08** is the same as JTM – and thats only on three levels

I am well aware of who they are. 😉
What piqued my interest was the rates in relation to the other “stuff” that’s floating about regards JTM et all in contrast with Haste.
If one thing is for sure though Ian, as well have pretty much learned over the years, they will all shaft you one way or another eventually. It’s not a case of “if” usually, more one of “when”. The trick is to bail out before “when” actually arrives.
As soon as 0800 engineers where being employed or franchised the path was set and it was only a matter of time until the work for the indies through JTM or whatever dried up. It wasn’t in question “if”, only “when”.
Which means that, at best, this has to be viewed as a short term thing until they get an operative operational in the area, as soon as that happens it’ll disappear faster than virginity in whorehouse.
