ParticipantHi Y’all
I have noticed that on my Farmhouse 930, where the Main Oven Door seal has come unstuck and is hanging down, the escaping heat has damaged the Fascia board above where the Hob/Oven Control knobs are situated.
Aparently it’s quite common on these Ovens.I just wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of a parts retailer that I can trust, for the Fascia & also parts to repair/replace the Door Seal.
Unfortunately UKWG Shop could not help in this instance. Many Thanks
E 🙂

Hi,
Should be able to do that, but… 🙂
Can you have a look about for the rating plate and get all the numbers you can off it? Belling has changed hands and had cookers made by several different companies and factories, it’s just to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure.
There seems only to be the different colours on that one though and I’d need to know if it was black, blue, champagne, green or red for the fascia? 😉

Hi there I have pulled the oven out & there is no rating plate on the back, front or either side?
Where is it likely to be hiding?

Hi again Kwatt
I checked both, no plate. The Storage drawer. where we keep all the baking trays etc, hasn’t got it, I have thoroughly checked that.
The main oven also. I checked the Grill & other oven just to be sure.
When you say “inside the main oven door frame”, is this visible without taking anything apart?June 6, 2011 at 1:16 pm #352949The Equalizer

Hi Kwatt
Sorry mate, it looks like its missing.
I’m not daft, I’ve had to look for Vin Plates on a car before that have been hidden, but this rating plate is either missing or hidden inside somewhere.
I pulled the oven out again checked all 3 sides, opened all four doors, checked each door, door edge, framework around each door.
It’s either fallen off, or been taken off. I’m gonna have a hunt in the loft for the user manual manual, there might be some info in there.June 6, 2011 at 5:46 pm #352950Washman

Hi
You need to remove the Warming/storage drawer completely to find the numbers .

Hey Washman
Just to confirm.
Thats the drawer at the bottom that holds all the pot and pans.
Ok, I’ll get to it.
Thanks to you & Kwatt for the advice.
