Hi,
Called out to this one, four years old and cost £1,400 from John Lewis. Machine works fine but when it goes into spin it just load distributes forever and sticks on 6 minutes. Motor checked and fine, tacho readings seem normal (497ohms at rest, up to about 2kohms when spun by hand). Insulation is absolutely fine.
No visible damage on board but the pressure switch, which is soldered onto the board, readings jump around even when no water in the drum. Has anyone had this before and is there any alternative except paying an arm and a leg for a new board from Miele?
Customer thoroughly fed up, torn between just flogging them a new ISE10 but seems criminal to scrap such an expensive machine after 4 years.
Thanks.
