The display/clock/timer etc on our Zanussi ZCM7902XN oven has stopped working along with the main oven. The top oven and grill are still operating as normal though.
I’m not sure what to check first or if it is economically viable to repair, but it is annoying not to have the main oven as that’s the one we normally use.
Re: Zanussi ZCM7902XN main oven and clock/timer not working
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply.
So, is the ‘thermal cut out’ something that can be tested or should I just replace and see if it works again? Can these and/or the clock itself be purchased in the shop? I’ve had a quick look, but not managed to find either.
Re: Zanussi ZCM7902XN main oven and clock/timer not working
It can be tested. It’s a simple on or off depending on temperature, if the temperature exceeds the preset then it will usually open thereby cutting the power. So, you only need a multimeter to test it.

Thanks again, I’ve removed the lamp cover but can’t see anything that looks like it might be a sensor near it, what should I be looking for? sorry if that’s a dumb question! Cheers, Ben
