been to this m/c today, and i’m not getting 240v to the elements, test heater cut out stat on top, found i’m getting a circuit through it ok, went to the front duct stat found the same,ok. trace back through to the timer and found that i’m not getting 240v out on the red wire to the heater temp selector switch, but below that contact on the timer i take to be the feed (Live) in is the brown and white wire, with 240v there, has any body got a wiring diagram prod code 37616307.
also the filter care light is on, ISit the timer? or have i missed something, there is no other thermal cut outs i can see on this appliance.

The earlier heater assy’s had one stat on top of the heater assy & a one shot inline cut-out inside the heater assy.
The later type ones had the one shot stat on the left & the normal operating stat on the right.
Is your heater the early version?
For test purposes only you can by-pass the hidden one shot inline cut-out.

mine must be the earlir one, has a single stat on top,but if its an internal one shot cut out, how is it that when i’ve disconnected the 3 wires to the element, red,yellow, and white, that i’m getting a reading through both elements. the stat on the top has 240v, and is still in circuit.
