    Hi

    The bottom, sides and mainly the back of my fridge are gathering ice. Food in freezing. It is solid rather than powdery ice. The door seals looks ok.
    The freezer section is fine.
    Any advice gratefully received.

    Could be a thermostat problem as it’s just a normal fridge freezer.

    Does the stat seem to cut in and out when you adjust it, there’s usually a click.

    It doesn’t click when I turn the temperature dial no but it does turn off occasionally.
    I put it to the coldest setting for a few hours and then back to the warmest. The ice then melted. However now it is back.

    If it turns off the stat should be okay.

    Given the configuration I can’t think of anything else obvious.
