    😕 Has any body had this
    Ordred the Fan Element C00150196 Fitted it within 20 Secs took out trip
    Check Element Down to Ground OK Duff Element from new Order another, Fit it same thing, Begining to see a pattern here,Even try a pattern element, Tried running element up on its own outside cooker

    After 20 secs Sure enough Short to Earth on a megga. Tell me its not me!!!!!
    It Can only be the element, Any body else had one faulty suspect a batch type problem

    Yep, we have had the same recently with Ariston fan elements, not just leaky to earth but also premature failure (3 Months).

    I’m monitoring them at the moment.

    😀 Thanks Dave , now sorted ( we think) got a Creda element from Kitchen Economy fitted and working . The Element from Hotpoint even after burning off in workshop with no earth( not recommended) Still short to earth !!!!!!.
