My Whirlpool American Fridge S20B-RWW20-A/G seems that the compressor is running more than due (and my electrical bill prove it 🙁 ). And under the fridge I find always water (the water to the dispenser is closed as the water filter holder was leaking…BTW where to find this spare part and how to replace it; the filter holder is too big to come off).

    Thanks.

Can you give me the 12NC number from the rating plate please, makes finding the correct spares much faster and more accurate?

However any frost free refrigeration will run 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}+ the time it’s plugged into the wall just so you know. Normally if you get extended running times you would experience overfreezing to go with it.

Actually I’m out. Where do I find the 12NC number from the rating plate?
Anyway there isn’t an overfreezing. I’ve replaced the rear board and changed the capacitors to the front board. If I unplug the front board the fridge stay “calm” for a couple days and start again. I replug the board and it stays “calm” for another couple of days. It’s a monster fridge 🙂

    Hi again.
Might it be the thermostat that isn’t working properly?

    Thanks

Hi Check out my thread 24/7/2011 – broders baldrick is your man to sort any issues with your whirlpool – he sorted mine and it was a bugger.
