The photo image, far from being a so-called ‘thermal image’ looks more a photo image of a General Electric with the exposed square-shaped heating element in the base. My nephew has one just like it, just 5 years old and already 2 elements well burned out and bottom baskets replaced. The ‘appliance guy’ that called and sorted it last time suggested my nephew reposition his smoke detector a little closer ‘just in case’…. 😈
But I digress…..no doubt this expose’ will see a drop-off in Daily Telegraph readers buying dishwashers. 😯

not be long before you have to wear chem suite. before repairing a appliance. and have to seal off the whole area and remove everyone with in a ten mile radius.fasetester

Just read the first 25 comments and have had the best laugh I’ve had in a long time.
For example,
“I actually found black mould in our dishwasher. It was only at the bottom inside edge, below the door level. I cleaned it with mild solution of bleach. Since then, after each cycle, we dry around the door and hidden points and wipe with alcohol.” :rotfl:Heaven help those poor sods who do their washing up by hand 😯 !
