ParticipantHi, newbie here 😀 looking for some advice with my washing machine.
Error F-02 appeared today so I have checked the connections on the PCB and to the motor. I measured the tacho, 130-140ohms, it wasn’t loose but I removed it and cleaned it anyway. Nothing has improved.
On a spin it does a sort of half speed spin near the beginning but only turns slowly for the rest of the programme.
A quick Google suggest a new motor or PCB and EPROM is required. Having checked the prices, replacing both is out of the question. Is there anything else I can check to pinpoint the fault?
In return if anybody needs help on commercial dishwashers, Winterhalter, Clenaware etc just ask 8)Thanks, Bazza

It could be either motor or PCB or even both. :rolls:
You could pay the Indesit Company their £105 charge and they will do the complete repair with all parts included in that price.
If you Google for EMW then you may be able to get the PCB tested and if need be repaired for much less.
Take great care when handling the PCB if your machine has the three phase motor, leave it unplugged for 10 minutes or so before you touch it.

Thanks for that, will look into the fixed price repair as the motor, module and EPROM are coming to over £200! Before I do I’ll try and see if I can get them through work cheaper, hate paying people to do something I can do myself. 👿
If m/c is replaced then it will be the 6th washing m/c I’ve had in 12 years :rolls:
Thanks again,
Bazza

You are buying the wrong machine. 😉
The separate eeprom is not used now, it is already installed on the PCB, it does however need programming which the Indesit engineers do with their laptops. If you want to do it yourself you will also need a one use only smart card at £15 and a card reader at around £100.
That is why the EMW route is the way to go.

EMW? ❓
Wrong washing machine! tell me about it! 1st one tore the shock mounts off and I had a chance of a Bosch or Siemens about 10 years ago at a good price but the wife didn’t think they looked good so a Zanussi was bought, been rubbish machines ever since. Problem is they keep breaking down at the wrong times. :rolls:
