    Hi all
    i have an AEG Lavatherm drier which is not heating when set on sensor dry, on timed dry it heats most of the time but not every time, I have tested the heater & all the microtemps & stats on the unit, also the stat at the front is ok. I suspect it is the timer/module at fault but this looks expensive so I would appreciate any advice before I order one

    Toni,

    You could be right but first ensure the ‘wiper brush’ unit is making a good contact on the drum. If it doesn’t make good contact the module does not play ball 😉

    Also worth replacing all the stats in case one is playing up (cheaper to do that than buy a module and find it wasn’t that 🙁 )

    is this a condenser model? if so just a thought to make sure no blockages between pump and bottle. if the reservoir in the base remains full it may cut power to heater?
