Don’t ask me how, but a disposable nappy managed to get put in a wash in our ~12 month old Miele Washing Machine. There’s gel everywhere 🙁

I’m currently working on removing what I can with paper towels.

    What should I do next?

    Empty high heat washes?

Some people have mentioned salt – will this damage the machine? Is it better to use than detergent?

Any advice ASAP would be greatly appreciated 🙁

Wear a pair of rubber gloves…lol

All you can do is put it through a rinse and then empty the pump filter each time and keep flushing it through.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>>>>>

Dare I ask where the pump filter is? 😆

Edit: It’s a W_1613 if that makes any difference.

Currently on a 95 deg wash with a cup of salt in replacement of detergent.

Thought I’d follow with a 95 deg wash with detergent, then wash the clothes again (with salt), followed by washing the clothes with detergent.

Then I thought I’d finish with a 95 deg salt and then detergent washed.

Probably being slightly obsessive 😳 , but figure it can’t do any harm (and we haven’t done the regular hot “service” washes that we should have anyway, so this should make up for it – unless anyone says otherwise!)
