I understand the front panel ‘opens like a door’ but how do you release it? Can it be opened or does one have to remove some other parts first? Perhaps the top and control panel…

Some time ago I had the check drain and check inlet lights flash. I took off all hoses and cleaned the filters and connection to the waste and the filter in the little door at front of the washer. All was fine until today I had ‘check drain’ flash again. Drained machine and then spun okay. Cleaned the machine filter again but didn’t really need it. Since done one wash okay. I have searched the forum and have a few ideas to check. So I want to open the machine up and look at the connection from drum to pump and this plastic reservoir thing I’ve heard mentioned and anything to do with sensors but any other ideas would be welcome. It does seem to pump out okay.

    Hi Wphil,

If I remeber rightly to release the front panel you need to take out the soap tray, take out the 3 screws holding the facia.
There is screw directly below the drain filter on the left hand side near the bottom of the machine.
You then need the door open and there are 3 bolts around the door seal.
I think this should now release the front panel which hinges on the right hand side.

Remember to isolate and test…..ie pull the plug out!!!!!!

    Good luck
    Steve
