None of the pictures of the controls look exactly like this one. Complaint of poor /non starting.
Last error code lights flashing are ( I think ) 20,21 & 23 or the 3rd,4th & 6th vertical leds, but I cannot reconcile the picture of the control panel with any of the Zanussi models, it looks more like one of the AEG ones. 😕
I have changed the door interlock but just wondered if anyone can interpret that error code for me. 😳

Try sticking it into diagnostics on the LED test (First position) and then watch the front panel closely – there are probably another 2 below the 6th one hidden behind the panel (in my experience they are always there just not shown to the user), this being the case then your LEDs would be numbered 18, 19 and 21 – I would then read the error as E31 “Pressure Switch Faulty”.

The problem is that the facia on this doesn’t match any of the ones shown in the diagnostics and the numbers of the led’s vary from one model to another, its a Zanussi machine but its nearest match is an AEG facia. 😕
When it was running through the first test I couldn’t see any signs of hidden led’s but I wasn’t actually looking for them I must admit.

Thanks for that info Martin, I didn’t have that and it does at least show the facia for this model on page 16. The ‘Multipanel, built in’ model.
It is the 3rd,4th & 6th of the eight vertical lights that are flashing continuously without a pause which doesn’t appear to relate to the following list of error codes?
Customer reports that it will do one wash then not start another or stop in the middle with these three lights flashing. If she leaves it to ‘cool down’ it will then start to work again.
Will call back and haul the beast from its hole. 😀

limits)I know I am being a bit dumb but I have looked at the diagnostics error codes on TDS and can’t suss it out, can you point me to the page in the diagnostics that shows the binary codes for this machine?
How do you extrapolate E31 from lights 3,4 & 6 flashing constantly. 😳
BTW.
Went back today, heater meggered out perfectly, I just happened to have a digital pressure switch so popped it on.Machine appeared to work OK and error has cleared from the log.
One thing she did mention, when she tried it on a ‘no heat’ wash programme she was able to start another programme instantly afterwards instead of having to wait an hour or so. 😕

Because there are no error codes in the E0x – E09 range I knew that if I was to make it up to the 8 required LEDS then the extra 2 LEDS I wanted had to go at the bottom. I then took the first 4 LEDS as the first digit of the error code and the second 4 LEDS as the second digit, I then used this table to convert them:
Top -> Bottom
0, 0, 0, 0, = 0
0, 0, 0, 1, = 1
0, 0, 1, 0, = 2
0, 0, 1, 1, = 3
0, 1, 0, 0, = 4
0, 1, 0, 1, = 5
0, 1, 1, 0, = 6
0, 1, 1, 1, = 7
1, 0, 0, 0, = 8
1, 0, 0, 1, = 9
1, 0, 1, 0, = A
1, 0, 1, 1, = B
1, 1, 0, 0, = C
1, 1, 0, 1, = D
1, 1, 1, 0, = E
1, 1, 1, 1, = FThus to get the error code for your machine I took the first 4 LEDS (0, 0, 1, 1) which gave me 3 and then I should have read the second 4 LEDS as (0, 1, 0, 0,) which gives me a 4 which then gives the total error of E34 “incongruity between the water level measured by the analogic
pressure switch and the mechanical pressure switch”.Having just typed that out I have now realised that I gave you the wrong second digit on the original error code 😳

Would a fault of this nature cause the symptoms reported.
I once had a machine reporting E34 and even after changing both pressures switches, meggering everything in sight, checking all hoses were clear and giving it a kick it still did not fix the problem. 🙁
