    Been to a newish LG american today(sorry didn’t get models as don’t usualy entertain them!) Unit was dead apart from internal lights and all the segments on the display flashing individualy one by one. No one part was repeated as in a fault code. Seemed to me it was a demo mode for showrooms. Is this possible?

    if its in demo mode a simple switch off the power for 1 min and switch back on and its reset to normal operation.

    thanks bob. Turning off did a reset. I trawled the instruction book and no mention of the demo mode or how to reset, so one happy customer. thanks
