Its an Indesit under then skin. :rolls:

You should be getting error codes, however, the heaters, main circulation pumps and control PCB’s are all very suspect on these machines, you may not have purchased the bargain you thought. 😉

The Hotpoint Company has been owned by Indesit for 8 or 9 years now.

Not the best machines on the market to say the least. 😥

You could try our Find an Engineer facility, you never know, it could be something simple like a loose wire, the heater is not that expensive but the motors and PCB’s start to add up a bit.

    Re: Hotpoint aquarius+ Dishwasher fdf784

Hi there just to let you know at this moment in time the dishwasher is working brilliantly,my husband kept restarting the program washes and when the timer kept galloping stopping it and restarting it again on a new wash then he pressed pause and after 30 seconds took it of pause ,he then put the washer of left it for about 1 hour.when he switched it back on it did the whole cycle without a hitch. The only thing i think it could be is that with my old washer i just used to open the door to put more stuff in during its wash cycle i have been doing this with this dishwasher without using the pause button i am wondering if this has caused the problem .i did have a look on the manual on line i am almost certain it did not say to put it on pause first i could be wrong .any which way if i dont open the door during washing it may never happen again ,here is hoping.
Once again thanks very much for all your help.

In truth it is not a good idea to open the door mid cycle on any dishwasher, when it is really hot you can get a pressure build up that can lead to overfilling or leaking.

Have you got an instruction manual with the machine, it is possible to download one if you don’t.
