    Hi Folks,

Just lost the will to live with Hoover tech support ( Wish Kev H had not retired )
We have a 3 year old Hoover unit that needs a regas but the label has been removed. It doesn’t say the charge on the Giastech web site. Anyone know what charge goes into it. I have booked it for early next week so not really any rush.

    Cheers
    Mike

55grams sounds about right but it a while since i did one, just watch the backpressure on the gauge and depending on what scale is on the gauge set the evaporating temp to -32c. or -0.6 bar.

    Bob.

Thanks to both of you. The engineer just rang me and asked, I had forgotten about the job ( Old age creeping in at 46 haha ). Kev was the oracle of Gias, such a shame he chose to sun himself and spend his days relaxing.
