Have had this from new and is now not cleaning dishes properly after 2 years. Goes through its cycle correctly some dishes clean others have hard crystaline like dirt deposits on them. What do I need to do please?

    Kerog,

First thing to do is check your rinse aid, make sure there is some in it and that it is decent quality stuff.

Next check that the spray arms are clear, you can take these off to clean them and that they can spin free unobstructed by plates, cutlery or fresheners.

After that you need to check the load pattern you use ensuring that it’s no just certain areas that are affected, if that’s the case then you need to look at the loading.

In 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases the above points will cure what I think you’ve got there which is tiny particles of dirt being trapped and them hardened during the dry process.

    Hope that helps.

normally i have found with these that the sump under the filter gets silted up due to the fact the plates are not rinsed off properely,or not pumping out fast enough, you need to clean the filters and under the filter in bottom, clean spray arms and make sure machine is pumping away quick enough, then put a dishwasher cleaner through it and 9 times out of 10 that will cure it. smartin

Did find some food particles in the end holes of the spray arms which seemed to stop the arms rotating. Seems to be OK at the moment, touch wood. Might check out the sump though and run the cleaner through it anyway.
    Thanks
