miele d/w inlet/drain light flashing

    hi ive been out to a miele g975sc plus dishwasher,the fault is the inlet/drain light keeps flashing.on running the machine the machine fills but while filling the light is flashing,after filling the machine does nothing but the inlet/drain light continues to flash,any ideas much appreciated.

    Likely the reed switch on fill chamber is not picking up the pulses of magnet when water is being counted in. Check the small P.C.B is seated correctly, they are tempermental.

    checked pcb seems to be seated ok,ran machine after checking pcb seating and as soon as water enters machine inlet/drain light comes on and stays on while water entering then light flashes during water pulses
