    I’m after a fridge stat for the above oldie. Can’t find any listings for it anywhere. Is there a non gen that will do.
    Answers on a postcard please.( I’ve always wanted to say that) 8)

    You’ll need to know if it’s a single or twin compressor unit Toni.

    The single compressor fridge stat has an extra terminal/contact for a solenoid on it.

    If it’s a twin compressor a VT9 will do nicely.

    The single compressor unit was a Danfoss special, genuine part number is 572595859008, Connect part number FRG29, Qualtex part number Ran29 (Ranco replacement ?).

    Depends whether single compressor with a diverter valve, or twin compressor. They used the same model number for both types.

    If twin compressor, a VT9 will do. If single with the diverter; the stat is configured on the switching. In which case you will need to use part number 572595859008 rrp £25.52 + vat from Distriparts and they have 55 in stock.

    Thanks for the help guys.
    Its a single pot unit.
    Old aquisition from a job and used in the workshop for the occasional beer 😉 ,and from keeping the freezer overflowing. Ill check out the non gen prices.

    The stats a danfoss no 29 DF5329 from Masterpart at £9.49.
