I have a creda W120VW washing machine The problem I have with this machine is that the bearing housing has become loose. is it possible to drill into the drum and bearing housing and bolt the housing to the drum?
I was going to replace the outer drum with a second drum which i purchase from the local breakers yard. The problem with this drum is that the front bearing have collapsed and unable to remove the outer race, so ordered i cheap bearing puller on Ebay
Has anyone had any luck getting the bearings out using a 3 legged bearing puller?

That would be impossible. You actually need a ‘blind hole’ extractor to stand any chance. But by far the better way is with a sharp pointed, hardened tipped cold chisel and lump hammer with lashings of WD40 for lubrication. Add that together with a cool head and determination and that broken bearing collar will come out.

Don’t scar the bearing housing thumping it out mind…. 😉
