Hi, we are in the process of having our kitchen refitted and purchased Neff T13P90N0 90cm In Line 4 Zone Ceramic Hob to be fitted into an island in centre of kitchen.
On opening the box and reading the instructions though it states that the hob musn’t be installed above any other integrated appliances such as a fridge or freezer. This has caused a bit of a headache as the island will also house the freezer.
Does anyone know why Neff specify this in the instructions and is there any way around this (other than not having the freezer installed under) as there isn’t anywhere else to put the hob in the kitchen!

That is correct, it’s a ventilation requirement for all induction hobs and you really can’t have anything under it or the boards are likely to fry from overheating.
