there is mod for this change on the samsung site but it only gives the part numbers, so i think it will come with the instuctions, it looks like a new pcb wiring harness and a new cooling fan.

Hi
Send the customer back to samsung and tell her to demand that due to samsungs faulty design and the faulty part requiring to change the whole harness and thermal cut outs and PCB and the model has been modified due to the PCB failures she is holding them responsible.

anyone got any tech info for this oven
got new board ,wiring harness * 2 plus top oven plate as per instructions on samsungs site.
top plate is no different from old one so did not fit that. all wiring colours had changed too me over 2 hours to trace all wires through but had to make an educated guess on the remaining.
got it to the point oven operates all ight and fans work in right places but no heat
am suspecting faulty thermistor but i dont know. has anyone got a resistance measurement for it. if i disconnect board knows its gone so i would assume resistance is not too high but is this a negative or positive ntc ie does resitance go up or down with rises in temp

I suspect that it’s not wired correctly then..New wiring diagram and harness description sent.

just to add solutions to the above problem
have got the oven going by repairing the old board
inspected new board and found resistor R111 had blown
sent board back to connect and ordered new board but was careful to order new board before sending old board back
new board arrived this morning and R111 was blown on arrival. That means connect are sending out returned boards from customers that have fitted them wrongly
am awaiting new board again as customer still want mod done to update oven hopefully this one will work
Thanks for your help Bryan your info you supplied proved I had wiring correct despite almost complete colour changes
moral keep an eye on connect when it comes to electronic parts

That warning needs writing up somewhere where everyone can see it. That is very underhand behaviour on their part. We shouldn’t have to deal with stuff like that. Our jobs are difficult enough already.
