    If anyone comes across one of these busted and it can be kept could they let me know please as I have a TV company wanting a look at one, possibly to film it.

    if they want to film it breaking down they wont have to wait too long lol

    any idea what they had in mind?

    have sold a microwave to a film set locally took all the working parts out just left a case and got £20 for it.
    good deal in my books

    Well I shouldn’t wonder that this model is the subject of Matt Steven’s (of Which?) investigation into non-fixable sealed drums. But what does appear odd is that if a TV company wants to look at one, then why don’t they simply go on-line to buy one ? Cash strapped Channel 5 production maybe? 😉 😈

    They only need to unpack a new one, plug it in and do a couple of washloads with TV camera filming…..BINGO! Busted Beko….!!

    i have a new sealed tub assy if they want it – they can cut it half etc to see the offending parts;;

    Isn’t this one of the ones where the drum paddles are impossible to replace?

    Beko spares will sell you a set here http://www.beko-spares.co.uk/products/p … ght=wm5140 for £15.32.

    I hope they come with fitting instructions.
