Hey, I have a Fisher and Paykel SmartDrive 603 washing machine that got wet in the control board (cause I forgot to put a seal on one of the valves, duh).
It keeps blowing fuses, I disconnected some stuff and narrowed it down to the yellow wire connected to this long hollow metal thing. What is it exactly? Water comes in from the valve tank area into the end with the blue flange, and flows through it and back (its divided in the middle lengthways up the inside).
Apart from acting as a heatsink for a whole bunch of FET’s (what are the FETs for??) first I thought maybe its a flow sensor, but it the washing machine works on level not flow. Is it a temperature sensor?
It seems to work alright without it connected. Should I be worried running it without this thing?
Thanks
