    Hi have a weird problem with this machine, when the main on/off button is off and the door is open the neon facia light is on, when door is closed light goes off, then press on button and light comes back on? Machine seems to work ok? Any ideas would be grateful Allan

    Check for potential earth leaks or indeed no earth at all. Neon lights especially old ‘un’s, as in this case, can behave badly also if the timer terminals are stating to arc and burn too! 😉

    Found it, was the main on/off switch, was quite grubby and had been overheating, i guess when door was closed any slight current leak was used up when door was open only had the neon to feed!
