    ADP 5740. Service number 854274015750.
    Got a whirlpool dishwasher with a flashing start light. it flashes 7 times which i belive to be a water intake fault.there is no flow meter on the dishwasher and i have tried a pressure switch in the sump of the machine, also the circulating pump started to make a noise and stall. i know this is a common problem with that type of motor but didnt think that could cause any flashing light fault??
    dont want to order a new pump then find other faults, any advice? thanks

    hi,7 flashes ,water tap closed,inlet hose blocked,inlet valve defective,flow meter failure,water indicator failure. 🙂 flow meter on the l/h/s from front view behind side panel.
