fisher and paykell

    i have had no experience with these but i am going to one next week and the complaint is leaking from the bottom drawer,what are they like to work on and is there any common faults to look out for?
    if any one has any info it would be much appreciated.

    Hi Chris

    They are great to work on. Look a bit scary but once your in you’ll see pretty straight forward.

    Take out lower drawer (Like a kitchen drawer, two lugs at bottom near the front and lift off) and look at the plastic link which supports the harness and fill/drain tubes. It’s most likely to be broken and stopping the lid from closing proberly on wash. Replacement is metal and much better pt. no. 528437 if you need it.

    Hi Chris I have the service manual on pdf, but I am away at the mo, back on Sunday, I could email it to you then.

    thanks very much lads I aint got a model at mo she just said it is approx 4 year old double drawer if you could send me what you have that would be great.
