My washer dryer works perfectly on washing cycles however when I try to use the dryer it will either start to heat up and then trip the RCD in the fuse box after a few minutes or it carries out the whole cycle but the clothes come out stone cold and wet.

Is this likely to be a faulty drying element or could it just be the connection to the element? Is the element easy to locate and replace?

I don’t get any error codes.

    Thanks.

elements normally work or they dont from what you say it does sound more like a bad connection the makes sometimes. if this bad connection sparks then it can blow an rcd

element is in a box at the top of the machine. check all the thermostats on this box for signs of loose connections or burning
