ParticipantHey all,
Bosch exxcel that finishes the cycle every time but continues to pump at the end of the cycle with 0 mins showing on the clock.
It can do this intermittently on any cycle, including quick wash, the pump will run until switched off manually.Any takers?
Also, I remember seeing a post about recalls, that I can’t seem to find now, is this one of them does anyone know?

Update,
Cleared out the tube which was pretty clean anyway and I took off the water matrix on the side and cleared a bit of gunge from the top. the machine in general is immaculate inside and out but it’s still pumping constantly at the end of the programmes, only sometimes though…..
Water level Probs?
Board Probs?
Anyone?August 19, 2011 at 5:22 pm #357425Martin

Red float gunged up?
Debris stuck under polystyrene float?
Does the pump still run at the end with the door open?
Does the pcb look clean (no dampness ingress) ?August 19, 2011 at 5:29 pm #357426dave-m

Update,
Asked him to double check if the pump was running after the door was opened.
Turns out when he opened the door the pump stops but it’s not the drain pump, it’s the circa pump, when he opened the door the water was dribbling out of the upper spray arm, it wasn’t turning as he said that opening and closing the door turned off and on the pump and water ran out of the spray arm but it stayed in the sane position.
Does this make sense?
I’ve never heard of this before.Dave

Since you’ve got 0 mins in display but circ pmp still running and with low water(?) it sounds like a switching fault somewhere. I’d be checking for a shorted switch above the red float (anybody mucked about with connector before you got there?) or a stuck relay or shorted triac on the board or possibly something going on around motor connection.
