hey ho i had a look at this d/w yesterday customer had replaced the capacitor with a 16 microfarad normal size is 5 + or – 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} , would this cause damage to the motor or electrical system ? also it doesnt heat the water , ive checked heater and it measures 26.5 ohms which sounds about right there is a stat on the underside if the tub it looks like its sealed onto the tub with paste but i cannot reach it to test , the m/c cannot be laid down to gain access are parts available for these m/c’s thanks

If I remember right, there’s a little water pressure micro switch which gives trouble and prevents heat, you’ll find it by tracing the pink wire from the element. Bypass this first and try it again for the heating problem.
is it working apart from the heating issue?
Also, why did they change the cap?
I also have a manual for this if you want to give me your e-mail, but I won’t be able to send it til this eve.

it works fine other than the heating issue it has an led display i thought it might flag a fault code but nothing shows after the wash cycle , customer sayes it stopped working so a friend of a friend had a look and replaced the cap ? cant get anymore info than that , that would be great if you could send on the info cheers Dave, pm sent

hello again mateys , 220v coming to the element ! still no heat does anyone know the resistance for these elements cheers
