hi I have an AEG dishwasher which my wife opened mid cycle. She quickly closed the door but a few minutes later the dishwasher tripped the RCD. I replaced the fuse and restarted – again the same thing happened. We now have some water leakage around the machine – any ideas before I book a repair please? Thanks.

Not a good idea to open it up mid cycle, you may have flooded the base.
Unplug, drag it out and tilt it to one side, you may need some towels on the floor.
Leave it overnight and hopefully it may dry out. Try it again the following day and if it still trips then its time to open it up and get the megger or an engineer out.
