I’ve just bought a Neff double oven and the installation guide says that a H05VV-F cable or higher rated should be used to connect it.

I’ve Googled for info on this but I’m a but confused – does this cable come in different combinations of cores? Should I use a 5 core for this?

    This is the product:

    Many thanks.

    Hi

Your oven has a 5.7 kw total load. The flex Neff quote in the instructions should be H05VV5-F-3G-006 which goes to a 4mm flex like 4.0mm 3183TQ Butyl Flex which is also heat resistant.

You will probably struggle to find it readily available in a short length. Easiest way is to get some 6mm twin and earth cable which is standard freestanding cooker cable normally available from most DIY chains and electrical shops.

    HTH 🙂
