Bumblebee,
It is difficult to diagnose from the information you have given us so far. But on the strength of that so far I would think either the motor is at fault (worn brushes) OR the heater not working 😕
I must ask, does it drain? Does it spin? What is its full model number as I don’t recognise the number you have given!

ParticipantIf it literally isn’t doing anything, most likely culprit is timer advance motor failure.

hi there
thanks for replying, it will spin and it will drain but only if i manually move the dial, it doesnt move itself, as far as the model number goes that is the only number i have, thanks for your replys i really appreciate it.
many thanks

OK bumblebee, if you manually set it onto spin, will it then spin and then turn itself off I wonder ❓ Also if you set it to a ‘Rinse & Spin’ cycle, will the timer advance by itself ❓

do you know if it is heating up the water feel the door glass sounds like a heating problem to me some machines do not advance until they have reached the correct heat and do nothing if they do not reach temp if this is the case could be something simple like a heating element or thermostat faulty but will still need an engineer because with most zannussi you have to strip the cabinet just to get to the simplest of parts

ParticipantBB,
Do you have wash action on the drum and if you listen at the programme knob can you hear ticking? If neither of these is happening (or you have constant motor action in one direction ONLY), you have a programmer fault and it’s engineer time.
