Hi managed to get a replacement motor for this classic wd 😀 the part no. Is HPTC00203638. Now on the info sheet it says this motor is a direct replacement for inline 6 and 7 way rast 5 type of plug, which this one is, but the original motor has 7 pins the new one only has 6 pins so I have on my plug a spare wire going nowhere, have run it up and seems to work ok even on dry! On the back of the sheet it shows alternate wiring of different spin and plug styles to change to inclosed new plug from 800 to 1200 spin, on the older 1200 it shows it as having the six wires plus an extra lead. Confused ❓ advice would be much appreciated

Think the extra lead was to a split field coil, so maybe it gets 1000 now but not 1200?
