My JL 1200 built in dishwasher has an annoying intermittent fault which is getting worse. Increasingly it doesn’t heat the water or dry the contents at the end of the cycle. I had the controller board out yesterday hoping to find something obvious of but all looks fine.

My assumptions are as follows. First off the heater element seems to be OK. Longer cycles seem more likely to result in heat so the suspect is currently a stickly power relay and I’d welcome thoughts on that.

Unless anyone has a better suggestion I’d like to replace the relay on the controller board so I’m currently trying, without success, to source that and I’d welcome some help. The printing on it says it is SHC brand model SRE303012. It helpfully tells me that the coil operates off 12 volts and it will switch 10A 250V. I’ve had absolutely no success finding an equivalent and the only vendor I can find for the specific relay is an Austrian eBay vendor of second hand salvage parts – so less than ideal!

    Thanks in anticipation, Guy.
