I have a glass fronted free standing drinks cabinet ( commercial type ) i use it to keep meat chilled like a cool room.
The internal fan and external fan are working fine, the commpressor is getting hot but thats it, any idears.
Probably a refrigerant system fault but it’s hard to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on it and most commercial appliances are alien to us.
If the compressor is getting hot then if it’s a r134a system then it would normally be due to a restriction or the compressor has failed and dependent on age and how long its been running like this end up needing a new compressor. How big is the unit ? and where ?
If it’s double door there could be a condenser/cooling fan problem underneath cabinet, they get blocked with dust or fan motor fails.Single door would have the condenser at the rear depending on which make.
If thats clear then likely compressor or thermostat or refrigerant loss.
