Participantneed help with this one, as never come across it before on a smeg.
no blockages in filter, spinner arms removed. clean water supply in, no aquastop on fill. waste disconnected and put in bucket.
it will drain water happily if manually put inside, and then it reverts to constant drain, with bursts of filling / pause / filling… etc.
theres no sign of error codes on fascia panel and its dry as a bone in the base.
was wondering if some of these have a jug impellor?

as ever with smeg, check all the things you can for earth leaks, however small and suspect the pcb if nothing found. Probably will have an impellor jug thing built into the air break, may or may not be connected….would expect an error code if it were faulty though.
what is all this “format 10054” stuff about?September 4, 2011 at 8:50 pm #358153gandh1

i could only remember the type no. of the dishwasher as i couldnt find my notepad with the serial and model in it…! nothing serious 😛 was assuming the 10054 no. refers to the general layout of that format of smeg d/w

right finally got this beast in the workshop as cust is never home and upon whipping off the base, and checking everything it all seems to check out ok.
except the underside salt tank solenoid is covered in salt residue, and giving no reading at all. whats the set up for overfilling with these tanks, i.e if that solenoids dead, will there be an overfill sensor/floodtrip inside the tank that cuts in? also would i be right in assuming this valve is only supplied as part of whole dispenser…?
