    Hi,
My Creda Simplicity condenser dryer T622CW has stopped heating, it works fine in every other way, is it l;ikely to be the thermostat or element, or is there something simple that I may be missing?
    many thanks for your help
    Colin

Most common cause is the thermostats but you should always check them for continuity first with a suitable megger or multimeter. They are behind the small back panel, just above the heater.

Be sure to remove the mains plug before you open it up. The stats you require if faulty are HERE

Sometimes the stats will fail with age but common causes are badly blocked condensor, stopping the machine mid cycle to check on the clothes or capacitor failure.

If you do order new stats then handle them with care, do not press on the base of the green spot stat.

Thanks very much Iadom, I’ll check that out, I suspect opening the door to check if dry could be the cause!
    many thanks
