hi,
need some advise if possible.
WDD960 hotpoint
customer said the machine will not fill.
and after a while a message saying to check water supply comes up on display.after looking at the machine i found that one of the solenoids had gone open circuit(the blue one nearest the front on the dispensor housing).
happy days i thought.
replace it but still no fill, in fact nothing, machine wont do any thing, no error codes or anything except door locks.
any suggestions?

seen a few like this door locks machine sits there sometimes after about an hour you get f01 i have always sent them to emw and got them back working always been a pcb fault to me

when the solenoid goes it damages the PCB?

no clue as to the link there but and of the machines with the click clunk door lock that locks then does nothing is always the board maybe i am wrong in this case but i recon a lot of these and have sent 4 boards to emw today 3 of them with door lock then sit there and do nothing and they will all as usual come back fixed and the machine will be fine
maybe the valve was the cause in this instance maybe it was just a coincidence if anyone else knows please enlighten me too as these are becoming costly to me
