Hi, can anyone tell me what the error code means on my Diplomat ADP8112 dishwasher please.

It’s got some water in the bottom so I don’t think the last wash worked ok and the lights are from the left:
    on, off, off, on, flashing.

We’ve had 10 years out of it so I’m not sure it’s economical to repair, but if it’s something I could have a go a fixing myself, I may give it a go.

Or maybe it needs resetting or something ?

    Any help appreciated.

    many thanks

    dave

That one’s a smeg built machine but those error lights aren’t in the list of fault codes which means it’s likely to be a software issue (pcb).

You might be able to reset it by opening the door and switching on then within 3 seconds press the program button four times. This will put it into test mode…shut the door and let it start. Once it’s running, open the door and switch off again…hopefully this will reset it but i have to say it’s sometimes a bit hit-and-miss.

Other than that it’s a new pcb which can be costly i’m afraid.

    Hi Clive,

    thanks for your reply.

I actually tried that last night when I saw it on another post, but it didn’t do anything at all – and I tried it quite a few times !

I saw a built in Beko (DW600 I think it was) for about £220, that’s probably a more economical buy than a repair because of its age.

Is it fairly straight forward to get the door off ?

    cheers

    dave
