    I have a customer with an Indesit WD12X washer dryer which has melted the dryer duct NTC, twice. The fan motor and fan is working, I have run dyer with door open and it is blowing well. first time I put down to faulty NTC part number C00080767, which is plastic! shuld they be plastic? thermal fuse also blown. Module?

    No way. Must have a metal case. You probably have the wash ntc.

    Hi Mike
    The NTC fitted does have the metal case, but the plastic inner has melted for the second time also causing the thermal fuse to trip. Fan motor still blowing and there are no restrictoins. I have quoted for new module etc. Thanks for the reply..
