ParticipantHope some one can help, this appliance wont dry, all is does is make the clothes hot and wet, so we have checked the condenser and hoses to make sure the hot air isnt picking up any water and they are clear, checked water flow and that is correct but discovered that the valve feeding the condenser shuts off after 10 minutes, no voltage at valve, so no water flow through the condenser and that fits in with the hot and wet fault. What controld this valve, i am thinking main board, but before ordering i would like any one else’s ideas if they also have had this fault.
Thanks

Not sure if you’ve tried this but, at the point that the power to the condenser valve is shut off, have you checked that it’s not simply due to that coil going o/c?
I’ve not, so far at least, had a problem with this model but the symptoms suggest it likely a valve coil fault rather than a supply problem.Mind you the valve is bl**dy expensive…. 🙁

The resistance of the valve coils was checked before and after and was the same resistance, a meter was connected to the valve and a voltage was reading and then the voltage was dropped after about 10 mins, the coil was replaced with a new one to discount valve coil problem as well. With those checks done i am pretty confident not a valve issue. thanks anyway

Okay, we have replaced this machine with a new one, and we have this in the workshop. Has any one got any ideas or a function flow chart for this machine. The fault:-
select dry
machine fills for 5 seconds on wash valve, then dryer fan starts up and dryer heater, everything looks good, however the fill valve for the dryer dosnt come on and dosnt recieve any power at all so the clothes get hot and wet. We have cahged inlet valve, main pcb , thermister and display pcb, all other components have been put on the mega to find even the smallest earth path and none have been detected. Machine performs perfectly on all wash cycles.Any ideas or service manual/info would be welcome. I am determined to fix this.
