had a cust bring an element off a bosch dw in today, wanting a new one – not heating, after checking it out (wasnt faulty) and having chat bout other issues, get a call this afternoon “actually mate can you pop by i think you better have a look at it afterall” anyway as expected its a dry joint but sticky problem is the wiring back up – lot of loose tags. before i finish reassembling and switch on, just wanted a second opinion on where the wires should go in case ive done anything silly. bit brain drained and dont have a workshop repair to cast my eye over for reassurance.

    cheers

Sorry for delay in replying. Not sure of the colour coding on your model but basically the heaters are wired as follows: –

The live supply from the module goes to the bottom microswitch tag.(Grey and Black double in your drawing)

The top microswitch link to the right hand heater terminal (short link wire).(Purple in your drawing)

The left heater terminal goes to the thermostat on top of the heater box.(Blue in your drawing)

    HTH? 😀

send him a bottle of washing up liquid and a pair of marigolds for being a twit taking the wiring off without marking/drawing the positions..lol
