Zanussi ZWD12270W motor issue

    Howdo people – I know I’ve been away a long time…
    …but hopefully you can help with this one, I’ve just been to a Zanussi ZWD12270 Prod:914604000 00 I’ve put the machine on door locks then nothing ! I’ve since found the motor windings are open circuit (is not the carbons !!!) but can find no part number for the motor or any other parts listed for this model 😯 also can I expect any further issues with either the PCB/Programmer once the motor windings o/c ?

    Any help greatfully received.

    Motor is 1242123113 in stock at Connect £127.63 she’s looking at over £200 with labour so if it’s a worry about the board (hard to test without another to plug in or having the connection chart to hand) I’d err on the side of caution 😉

    There is a TOC wired in series on those windings.

    You know, I did wonder if they had taken a leaf out of Whirlpools book regarding a TOC on the motor windings, either way it’s a new motor right ?

    Not sure TBH. On some motors the TOC can just be replaced so that may be an outside chance here maybe?
