ParticipantHello,
Looking for the part no for the timer/clock of an Indesit FIDM201X double oven.
Customer says the buttons have stopped working, is this normally just a case of the PCB being pushed out?
Any help gratefully received.

FIDM201X(T) = C00196005
FIDM201XMK2 = C00196005

Hello, thanks for that. It is the FIDM201X/1 – a 3 button timer.
The part no you gave was C00218127, this comes up as a pack of 4 buttons. Could you recheck the number or let me know how I can find it myself.
I rang Indeshit but they couldn’t even find the model number on their system.September 14, 2011 at 11:32 am #358808Martin

According to the Indesit Partfinder DVD the “Electronic Programmer” for a FIDM201X/1 is indeed C00268127. (Priced at £31.66 plus VAT) The “Buttons Programmer Bank of 3” have a part number of C00267038 (Priced at £6.66 plus VAT)
That’s what is says! And as far as Indesit’s Call Centre not even finding the model number on their system, for me that simply says it all!

Or just simply bypass the relay on the clock as the customers very rarely use them other than to tell the time. Earn some brownie points with the wifey.

just remember when by passing clock timer relays on build-in appliances that the customer understands what you have done !. as if its a landlord or the property is up for sale they will ok the temp fix. only for the next tenant or owner to set the timer and go off to work for 8 hours. and it has happened.

sorry Bryan but that model does have programmable timed cooking, and there would be no relay to bypass if it did not.

They are one of the rare customers that actually use the automatic function.
Most customers haven’t a clue that there oven has the automatic function and how to use it. -
