    Hi,

    I have a Bosch dishwasher model SGV43E0GB which keeps running (in excess of 10 hours!).

    I’ve removed and cleaned the filters, and reading through the forum my next step is to check the impellor attached to the motor for blockages/fragments of food.

    To do this, I need to remove the plate that sits over the impellor – I cannot see how to remover it!

    Please see the picture any help much appreciated:

    The plastic cover is just latched into place. To release it you simply need to use a small screwdriver (or blunt’ish knife) against the small lug at the uppermost stem of that cover. Unlatch it gently whilst lifting it up and out.

    If you have the owners manual to hand it shows it in graphic form what to do. To download a copy of the owners booklet you just need to go to Bosch’s website. (though the CORRECT model number is vital in that regard)

    Hi Martin,

    the lug you’re referring to, is it the ‘notch’ at 25-to-the-hour on my picture (apologies for the poor quality – it was dark in there!).
