    Hi

I have an Ignis adl347 dishwasher that has suddenly stopped working. I set it as usual last night but it did not complete the cycle. The cycle starts and water comes into the machine & heats up however the dishwasher tab is still in the cutlery basket and the dishes are still dirty. It was beeping continuously earlier and the light was flashing constantly but both have stopped now. I have tried turning it off & restarting the cycle a couple of times & while it appears to start ok it all comes to a halt after about 5 minutes. I’d appreciate any help or advice you can provide. If you need more info please let me know.

    Many thanks

    Ignis ADL347 Fault PLEASE HELP

This is an update to my previous post.

I turned the dishwasher off overnight and then turned it on again this morning to see if I could get a better idea of what is happening.

When I turned it on & set it to the Bio 50 degree wash it seemed to start as normal but then it stopped. After quite a time it seemed to start again & then stop. I checked inside and the machine was hot inside so I closed it again. I left it until I heard a continuous beeping sound which stopped when I opened the machine. The start light was flashing continuously and the washing mode had changed to the pre-wash setting. The dishwasher tablet was still in the cutlery basket unused & dishes were still dirty.

Can somebody please help me find out what the problem is?

    Many thanks

    Hi Carmel,

If you keep it to one thread people can understand it a bit better, they won’t be bothered jumping from topic to topic too often. 😉

I think that machine uses these codes:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … codes.html

The number of beeps or flashes in the sequence point in the direction of the fault but they will not identify it completely for you.

    Hi kwatt

Thanks for the reply – sorry about confusion – changed post because I had more info & also thought people might think from post title that the machine was new when it is in fact approx 8 years old.

Re the beeps/flashing – there is no pattern that I can identify – there is a slight pause after each beep & it keeps beeping until I open the machine – similarly with the flashing light just keeps flashing. Is this likely to indicate F1 – NTC break? Do you know what the symptoms of this would be?

    Many thanks

    Re: New Ignis adl347 Fault

    Hi Carmel,

Yes, if you get a single flash/beep then a pause, then it repeats then it’s liable to be a fault on the NTC circuit. This could be a sensor, wiring or PCB problem as fault codes do not specify the component at fault usually, they just point you in a direction.
