Can any one help me with this dishwasher??
The machine will start a cycle, pumps out and just as its going to fill the the ‘start’ light and the programme light will go off and on together at the same time, it sounds like it is pumping and filling as the power is switch on and off. it does this for about 6 on/off pulses before it will stop and repeat it again. each pulse of the power/ light flash is about 1 second in time.
it can repeat this for about 3 or 4 times and then eventually start. i don’t think this is a normal fault code because i tuned off the water supply to see what it would do and it did give a code of quickly flashing ‘start’ light with a constant programme light. i can’t find anyone else who has had this fault in the forum.
the wash arms are free and clear, filters clean, no water in the sump under the machine, no kinked hoses.
can anyone point me in the right direction of what this fault is???
the manual is a whirlpool adp/agp if that helps

    Thanks

from what you are telling me it sounds like a programmer fault specifically the programmer power supply which is inside it
this is just an educated guess

    Thanks for that,
i’ve just inspected the sump pump which is clear, pump is free to rotate, water level switch checks out ok,and now resigning myself that it is going to be a control fault,
probably going to keep using it until it eventually stops altogether
    thanks for your reply
